“If you ever tell anyone about this, you will be VERY SORRY.”
Huh. A simple “thanks” would have been nice, wouldn’t it?
“Listen, there’s something I promised to do for Zainab.
“I’ve got some unfinished business in the Palace. But first let’s go have some coffee.”
“Can you meet me on the roof later?”
“Let’s go have a drink.”
“Oh, great, that’s just what Zainab needed.
“No thanks, I don't need anything.”
“Great. I’ll see you there.”
“Uh, what? Let’s try that again.”
“Well, that’s where I’ll be anyway.”
“Don’t even THINK about it.”
“You do what you need to do and meet me here when you’re done.”
“Zainab said to thank you for the clothes.
“Oh, by the way, there’s a rumor some members of the Palace staff have a habit of collecting baksheesh and burying it in some handy spot. All I know is, it isn’t in the women’s courtyard.
“Meet me in the marketplace when you’re tired of exploring.”
“Hi. That place to the west may look pretty sinister, but the owner’s all right. Let’s go have some coffee.”
“Hi. I’ve been waiting for you.”
“Uh-uh, no way, don’t even THINK about doing that again!”
“I’ll just go give them to her. Wait here, will you?”
“Hi. Sorry I took so long.”
“Zainab’s going to kill me: I promised to scrounge some old clothes for her, and I was going to swipe some from the bathhouse, but now I can’t remember where the bloody place is.
“I’m going to stay here and rack my brains. You go ahead and explore some more.”
“Did you forget something? You can go back for it later; like I said before, I’ve still got some stuff to take care of.”
“Hi. I was about to go look for you.”
“Yeah, why don’t you register the game so we can get out of here.”
“Well, I’m ready to go. Now all you have to do is cough up $10 for the shareware fee.”
“I don’t think that’s what Zainab had in mind.”
